Retailer slashes over £4k off annual energy bill

With help from our advisers and an interest-free loan, MC Stores in Girvan was able to fund a number of projects that have saved the business over £4k on its annual energy bill and improved the stores environmental performance.

With help from our advisers and the unsecured, interest-free SME Loan, MC Stores based in Girvan was able to make several improvements throughout the business. These included new LED lighting, refrigeration units and ventilation system.

These improvements are saving the business over £4,000 a year on its energy bill.

“Because of the interest-free loan and cashback we were able to invest more money back into the business to basically bring the store up to a 5-star standard.” - Richard Cook, Operations Manager.
